As the master sponsor and official curator of the Arena Gelado Experience, the Brazilian multinational attracted a highly qualified audience throughout the four-day event, turning its booth into a hub for trends, innovation, and strategic partnerships within the food service and premium gelato markets.
The participation offered a complete immersion in the group’s brands: Selecta, Specialitá, Mix and Equilibrium. With a dedicated technical lab and six showcases featuring 66 exclusive recipes, the company demonstrated the exceptional performance and versatility of its portfolio in practice. The event’s key institutional milestone was the launch of Equilibrium as an independent brand. Formerly part of the Selecta portfolio, Equilibrium now operates independently, with an exclusive focus on the high-performance nutrition, health, and wellness markets.
Selecta, the flagship brand in the company’s ice cream portfolio, demonstrated that the industry is ready to meet the needs of both health-conscious consumers and younger audiences seeking playful, indulgent, and gastronomic experiences.
According to Suelen Lima, Ice Cream Marketing Coordinator, the event was an excellent opportunity to reinforce DR Flavors & Ingredients’ position as a strategic partner in driving market innovation. “We brought to the event the key trends shaping the industry, anticipating insights and opportunities for our customers,” said the executive, who also highlighted the success of Equilibrium, a brand that is gaining recognition for combining premium quality with wellness through solutions featuring whey protein, collagen, fiber, vitamin blends, vegan options, and reduced sugar, without compromising indulgence or the sensory experience.
“At the Specialitá pavilion, the standout attraction was the French Fries flavor, which sparked visitors’ curiosity and generated strong engagement. Throughout the event, our booth remained consistently busy, attracting a large number of visitors and reinforcing the market’s interest in the solutions and trends we showcased. The Specialitá line showcased a trend-forward portfolio featuring exclusive creations such as Oak & Hot Tangerine, Japanese Cheesecake, and Matcha Latte & Cherry, alongside reinterpretations inspired by the comfort of nostalgic cuisine and Brazilian culinary heritage through the Selecta line, including Grilled Pineapple, Quindim, and Ambrosia.
Mix Ingredientes, DR Flavors & Ingredients’ confectionery brand, also contributed to the company’s success at the event through its presence at and sponsorship of the Arena Confeitaria. With the launch of the Mix Plena line, which introduces technologically advanced mixes combining whey protein and no added sugar, the brand continues to focus on the food service market, bringing together the performance needs of professional pastry chefs and the health-conscious preferences of today’s consumers.
