Dias emphasized that although DR operates in more than 70 countries, its headquarters—as well as a significant portion of its knowledge generation and strategic decision-making—remain in Jaraguá do Sul, bringing the innovation developed in the city to the world. “Feeding generations means more than producing food; it means creating opportunities, developing talent, sharing knowledge, making dreams possible, and contributing to the growth of the community,” he said.
On Saturday, the penultimate day of Expo150, CEO Rosemeri Francener participated in the panel “Historic Case Studies: Legacies That Transformed a City,” discussing companies’ commitment to building the future. “Century-old companies have a responsibility to honor the legacy they inherited and to create opportunities for future generations. That is what we seek to do every day.”

A timeline and interactive displays showcased the company’s history and shared interesting facts about the founding family, while a digital game introduced children and adults to the company’s business segments and to the applications of its various ingredients and solutions through an engaging blend of knowledge, technology, and fun..
The booth also featured the poll, “Which flavor brings your family together?”, inviting visitors to share cherished memories through the flavors that have connected generations. The booth also featured a tangerine tree bearing fruit and pots of peppermint, ingredients that connect the company to its origins and symbolize its relationship with the region’s biodiversity. The seedlings were given away on the final day of the event, with visitors lining up to receive one.
