On Friday (July 31), DR Flavors & Ingredients welcomed a technical visit organized by the State Council of Women Entrepreneurs (CEME) as part of the CEME Conecta program, an event held in Jaraguá do Sul by the Jaraguá do Sul Business Association (ACIJS). The initiative brought together 28 women entrepreneurs from across Santa Catarina for an immersive experience exploring the company’s history, management practices, and culture of innovation.
The program provided a valuable opportunity for industry leaders and women entrepreneurs from across Santa Catarina to exchange knowledge and experiences. One of the highlights of the program was a presentation by DR’s Flavor Manager, Silvana Laube Rech. In line with this year’s event theme, “Women who make a difference – Transcending generations,” Silvana shared her more than three-decade career with the company, highlighting the challenges, opportunities, and professional achievements she has experienced along the way.
During the visit, participants also learned about DR Flavors & Ingredients’ 100-year history, business model, global presence, and innovation initiatives. The agenda also included a tour of the company’s key operational areas, giving participants a firsthand look at the processes that have made DR Flavors & Ingredients a leader in developing solutions for the food and beverage industry.
The technical visit was designed to provide participants with a hands-on experience, fostering the exchange of knowledge, the sharing of best practices in management and innovation, and stronger connections between women leaders and the industrial sector. By opening its doors to the initiative, DR Flavors & Ingredients reinforces its commitment to sharing knowledge, fostering entrepreneurship, and building connections that drive innovation and strengthen the competitiveness of Santa Catarina’s manufacturing sector.
