The Santa Catarina based company, which turns 100 in 2025, receives 18% of its revenue from innovative products released in the last three years

Jaraguá do Sul (SC), August 2025 – The Brazilian multinational company Duas Rodas, the largest manufacturer of flavors, extracts, essences and other ingredients for the food and beverage industry in Latin America, was recognized, for the tenth year, as one of the most innovative companies in the country by the Valor Inovação Brasil 2025 Award, awarded by the newspaper Valor Econômico in partnership with Strategy& (PwC). The company is among the five most innovative in the Food, Beverage and Ingredients segment.
In its 11th edition, the survey has consolidated itself as the main reference in corporate innovation in Brazil, analyzing companies under the pillars of planning, execution, results and recognition, in addition to sustainability criteria and adoption of emerging technologies.

The company allocates more than 5% of annual net revenue to innovation, which results in a dynamic portfolio: releases from the last 36 months alone already account for 18% of revenue. Among the prominent cases is the development of botanical extracts of yerba mate with unprecedented standardization in chlorogenic acids, which exceeded the mark of 100 tons sold globally in less than a year, expanding the company’s presence in beverage and food supplement markets.
On the eve of completing a century of history, the company begins a new four-year strategic cycle focused on internationalization, open innovation and disruptive technologies. Ongoing projects involve generative artificial intelligence, machine learning, IoT, big data applied from R&D to factory management.
Innovation at Duas Rodas is participatory and involves employees from different areas, in addition to the direct involvement of customers and partners. The governance model includes multidisciplinary squadsand innovation committees, as well as KPIs linked to leadership compensation.
